Negligence – duty of care
In 14 claims arising out of physical and sexual abuse in children’s homes in North Wales between 1973 and 1991, the defendant had breached its direct duty of care to the children to take all reasonable steps to provide a safe home for them. Although the claims were statute barred, the Court would exercise its discretion under s33 Limitation Act 1980 to allow the claims to proceed.
I’ve never had any justice from Bryn alyn, nor have many others,plenty of decent staff there shame a few had to ruin it.
